Photo feature day!

Today, I’ve decided to go through my followers and select a few favorite shots.

thirdeyeimages

The author of thirdeyeimages is a guy based out of Mumbai, India.  Through his work, you can really see how passionate he is about photography.  Most of his work is in portraits.

beckytownsend

Becky is a young photographer from the UK and man, she takes some really great shots!  This is one of my faves.

jessicawardphotography

I love the way Jessica uses blues and whites in her compositions.  That, and I have a strange love affair with architecture >.> In all seriousness, check her out, she has wonderful photos.

jamietandenphoto

A nice shot of Las Vegas from jamietandenphoto

the405-365

I’m a sucker for black and white and violins.  From the405-365 project, which is a photo project by the 405, an online Music/Art/Film magazine.

The Pacifists

The Pacifists are a guy-gal duo from Texas and California (respectively) who collaborate and post to this blog.  They’ve some great photos, ranging from landscapes to thought-provoking pieces.  Check them out.

I just wanted to do this as a small token of appreciation for those that follow me.  Many of you are infinitely more talented than I, and it’s a pleasure to look at everything you all do.  I look forward to all of your future works!

Where All Life Truly Began by foureyes
A wonderful shot by foureyes, a houston-based (woo!) father-son team who have been featured in many books and magazines (Digital Photographer Magazine and National Geographic to name a couple).  Their shots are breathtaking, and their unique style kindle a sense of wonder and excitement in every shot.

A Soldier’s Goodbye
This was taken during my first soldier’s memorial in Iraq.  The mood was somber as soldier after soldier made their way up to pay their respects to the fallen comrades.  It will be one of the things that will stick with me for the rest of my life.
*Taken sometime in 2007 and edited in Photoshop CS2
